What voice commands can you use with your Nest or Echo devices?
You can control almost every function of your Tulsa smart home via your favorite AI assistant. See the status of your smart components, transfer to a pre-determined setting, or tinker with the details of a setting with some simple voice commands. Or command your Nest or Echo speaker to arrange your entire security system in the same way as you can with the Vivint mobile app.
Here are just a few commands you can give to Google or Alexa:
-
“Change my security system to away.”
-
“Secure all the doors.”
-
“Power off my family room light.”
-
“Did I leave the garage door open?”
-
"Keep a clip of my indoor camera."
-
"Lower the heat 3 degrees."
-
“Turn off the downstairs light in 30 minutes.”
You can also preset routines in your Google Home or Alexa mobile app that combine many functions. For example, say "Google, I'm leaving the house," and set your alarms, lower the thermostat, and secure the doors. Or create a scene for "tv night" and ask the command to lower the lighting and move the thermostat to to that perfect, cozy place.
